It's Monday, again . . . and a Giveaway winner (or three) :)

Yesterday, Merek refused to eat his ham sandwich. He only wants peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. DH is constantly attempting to get him to eat something else. Merek did end up taking a bite (small, albeit) of the bread, so I gave him a PB&J after that. He can be so stubborn. But, that is the life of an almost-3-year-old.

Sometimes I like to just put my hands up and refuse to do things, too. Too bad I can't blame it on my age . . . LOL

Today is Monday. We have a rainy forecast for the week. Tis the season here in the Seattle area. We did get a few more strawberries and raspberries off our bushes this week. But the tomatos stayed green.

Yesterday DH did some fall-prep yardwork, bless his heart. He even trimmed back my bed of overgrowing hardy plants.

A close friend of mine, Kori, had her baby on Friday morning. He was in the NICU over the weekend. She asked me to take her back to the hospital yesterday after she had gone home for the morning to clean up and rest a bit. It was so amazing to see her new little baby. He was so small, but perfect. And seeing all of the other little babies in the NICU . . . makes me think about wanting to go back to school to become a nurse. I always wanted to go into the medical field. Baby Bo is doing better and has moved into an infant care room. Kori is hoping he will get to come home today.

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed today with things to do around the house. Garage, kids' clothes, coat closet, pantry, kitchen counter, toy room, my side of the bedroom . . . Just need to do some cleaning out and organizing. Hmmm, how do you tackle projects like that?

Thanks for your sweet comments about my CK features. And there were so many on the CK blog, too, specifically mentioning that they like the twine storage. I hope some of you will be able to try it out--it is a great way to keep the twine from getting tangled.

On to the giveaway winners:
Addie
Kim M
 and
Kathyg

I'll be sending each of you a package of some scrappy goodness later this week.

Enjoy your day :)

Well Yay! Good way to start off a Monday! Can't wait for my goodies! Merek is so big, time has flown by! Yesterday we tackled the garage, mainly the side where stuff was stacked! We got some free shelving and it fit perfect! We got two units for the garage and one for my utility room. My scrap room is a mess, that's what I'm tackling next! I think this week of rain will make us all do inside chores and want to get organized! Have a great week!

My boys absolutely refuse to eat ham sandwiches as well. PB-J only! Good luck with your to-do list, I should probably go start on mine...
