Halloween Fun card

Here is a card I made Friday morning at 6am. Thursday night this design idea hit me about 11:30pm. I was so excited to try it out that when I woke up Friday I worked on it first thing.
(A funny sidenote . . . I just cleaned up my craft area last week. For this card I wanted kraft cardstock and googly eyes . . . but I could not find them! It took me 3 different 5-minute searches to find them).
Anywhooo, I needed to make a Halloween project to post on the Polka Dot Whimsy blog Friday. And I won a spot in Shimelle Laine's Pretty Paper Party class. One of Shimelle's prompts was to use two colors on a neutral.
I used a few products from the September and October PDW kits, then added a SRM sticker for the sentiment. (I'm kind of wishing I had added some buttons under the sentiment . . . oh well).
And since I was having a hard time finding things, I signed up for this free organizing webinar that starts in November. :-)
Get Organized Webinar (and, no, I'm not buying a ScrapRack)
(Do any of you know how to add a link that will open in a new window?)

When we lived in Pennsylvania, our town always trick-or-treated on the Friday before Halloween. At first it was a little strange but we got used to it. Here in Washington, we trick-or-treat on Halloween. Which is fun, but I'm learning the wisdom of not having it on a school night.

Any big plans for you on Halloween?

PS--Eeek! My Halloween layout is featured on the Creating Keepsakes blog today!

Cute owl!
Our trick or treat is always on Halloween. Last night our church did a trunk or treat though. We went and Kevin had a lot of fun.

That is one beautiful Halloween card. Here in Germany it is fairly new that kids go trick or treating on Halloween and that only in some towns. But it is becoming more popular.
