Fresh produce

Each week we get a box of fresh, organic produce delivered.
Well, not delivered to our door, but to our community.
It gives us a variety of fruit and vegetables to enjoy.
I love getting produce that is in season,
and super fresh.

And I was very happy last week when I noticed every item in our box came from the state of Washington. How cool is that?! It is my dream to someday have a self-sustaining farm.
Just have to get DH on board for that one.

But I'm pretty sure we won't grow Romanesco . . .
how do you eat this?

What is your favorite fruit or vegetable to enjoy in the fall? Any good recipes to share?

Is this something you had arranged locally or is it something I could do too?

Our veggies are available all year round because our weather doesn't have wide variances between summer and winter.

I prepare Romanesco like cauliflower. Love all the yummies in your box. We have the same over here. I tastes 10 times better than what I used to buy in the supermarket!

I have never heard of Romanesco until I saw your picture....what did you make with it?
