This morning my first thought (other than "when is Merek going to sleep later each morning?") was "What am I thankful for today?"
Grumble. Grumble. Seriously? I'm already grumbling?
Then a strong gust of wind blew against our house, rattling the siding.
Thank you, Lord, for that reminder.
Today I am thankful for our HOME.
It shelters us from the weather, keeping us warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It gives us a place to relax, to rest, to be safe from the outside world. Our HOME is our safe haven where we can be together as a family.
What are you thankful for today? Please leave me a comment or a link to your blog.
Have a good day. Stay safe. Stay warm.

I'm grateful for the hugs of my children - and that they all still like to sit on my lap for stories.
This is such a good idea! I'm thankful for blogging friends :)
Congrats on winning the Elle's Studio project :)
Beautiful tree in front of your house, and I am thankful for your comment. And yes, my daughter has the same name... and she even lives in the same town as you.
;-)
Great photo of your house. The maple tree is beautiful.
Today I am thankful that my migraine went away during the night. I'm hoping it doesn't return!
Don't you love when the leaves on the trees change colors! My FAV time of year. Beautiful home!
You have a lovely home in such a pretty part of your country. I am also thankful for my home, it is my sanctuary.
