November Fifth--Scrapbooking

I hesitated on this today . . . but I am thankful to have scrapbooking in my life. I resisted for so long. I started with Creative Memories and am very grateful for that because otherwise I probably would not have gotten into the hobby.
Telling the story is the reason I scrapbook. And it always makes me so happy to see my kids looking through their albums and having "memories" of things when they were young. My scrapbooking has change quite a bit over the past 5 years (I began in 2000), as I don't work on projects chronologically anymore. Most of my projects now are assignment related, which can be a little bit unfun but stories are still being told, nonetheless.

I've dabbled in digital scrapbooking and have thought of switching from traditional paper products to digital. But I can't make the complete switch, not yet anyway. I enjoy the paper, the process of creating with my hands.

What are you thankful for today?

LOL! I actually started out digitally, hated the "flat" look and started with paper and glue.

I am thankful you scrapbook to. You are so creative and such an inspiration.
I am surrounded by digital scrappers, but I love paper. The feel, the art of creating with my hands. I'll never switch.

I am thankful you started scrapbooking, too. If not, we never would have "met."
I can't believe you have thought of switching over to the digital side. (Gasp!) It's not even an option for me. ;)
