Today I am thankful for letting go. Stepping back from the "must-do" to the "want-to-do". It gave me a splendid 90 minutes with Merek, baking cookies and playing CARS on the kitchen floor. The laundry and dishes still got done, the assignment turned in on time, but with much less stress involved. I really must "let go" more often.
A happy, happy birthday to my dad AND to my sister, Michelle. Hope you were able to celebrate in style. Love and miss you, Michelle! (Can you please move to the West Coast?) Love you, Dad--see you next week :)
