November Eighth--Right to Vote

Today I'm thankful for my right to vote. As much as I detest all the campains and mudslinging, I am grateful to have a choice of who and what to vote for.

My Thankful mini is coming along. It's put together through yesterday's post. Maybe I'll post some pics tomorrow :)

At first, I wasn't sure about using this bright blue photos with the muted colors. But I do love how it ended up because that photo really pops off the page.

Oh, and just a funny thing to share that Merek said to me last night . . . I was changing his diaper before putting him to bed. He grimaced and I asked, "What's wrong?"  His reply: "My tail hurts."

It was all I could do to not burst out laughing. That was the first time one of my boys called the male part a "tail".  (BTW, it's fine and didn't hurt after I put the new diaper on  him).
