In a way, I'm thankful 2010 is over. It had a bad start and a bad ending. That said, I know that I need to remember all of the wonderful things that happened this year as well.
My family is the heart of my life. It is so much fun to see how the kids have grown this year. They are funny and make me smile everyday. It's the little things that give me pause and time to reflect upon my blessings.
I have a wonderful husband who works hard for our family to live comfortably. He loves me and does the sweetest things that make such a difference. I'm thankful he enjoys cooking and takes over the meals every weekend. I'm thankful that he loves me even if I'm not the best housekeeper or organizer.
Every day I am reminded of how blessed I am with health, home, and love. I hope this next year I will focus on these things. Make my kids laugh every day. Make my husband smile every day. Say thank you more often than necessary. Help someone know they are important and loved every day. Follow through on inspirations.
All the best to you and yours this new year! I love that it starts out 1-1-11 :)
