Thank you so much for your loving comments to me and about Paige. This has been a hard week. Her funeral service was here on Friday and was wonderful. Today was her burial in Montana. I flew out early this morning to Bozeman. It was awesome to see where she grew up, to be in her home with her family. They are such an amazing family! Her resting place is in a lovely spot looking at the mountains with trees surrounding her. Perfect for Paige.
I'm so thankful to have had the chance to be there today. To say goodbye one more time. It was a long, emotional day--but completely priceless.
My kids are awesome. And I have some pretty generous friends who helped me out with the kids today. So thankful for them.
Paige's SIL flew back home with me today . . . we had a such a great talk on the plane. Character, choice, committment, courage. Looking forward to lunch with her tomorrow.
Now, it's time to try to get back into normal life. I'm just not ready . . . but I know that Paige would want me to. To keep going, with a smile on my face, to be happy with life and enjoy every moment.

Paige sounded like a lovely friend! How special to be able to attend her burial and to have such wonderful and supportive friends. I'm sorry for your loss.
I am glad that you had the chance to say goodbye...and take your time to return to normal. It is a huge thing to lose a special friend...take time to grieve.
