Christmas Eve

This morning DH and I took Stanley for a walk. Stanley is Paige's dog. We are taking care of him for awhile. Merek went with us in the stroller. It was windy. It was raining. And it was awesome. We stopped at Starbucks. I saw a friend from high school! That was funny. Haven't seen him since we were in high school.

Today the kids are putting on a Christmas musical for us. They have been working on it for weeks. They have costumes, decorations . . . it is so exciting for them. I can't wait to see it :)

We'll go to Christmas Eve service at St. Michael's later today. The kids always enjoy being part of the nativity performance. We never know what role they will play each year. Usually they love being the animals, althought the past few years the girls have been angels. One year, Lina was a pig--I doubt there were any pigs in the stable in Bethlehem :)

They kids are already planning to sleep in the same room tonight so they can all wake up at the same time in the morning. They wanted to open their Christmas jammies from Grandma this morning but we said they had to wait until tonight. It's so hard waiting! After they are in bed, we have some more wrapping to do.

Merry Christmas to all of you! Thank you for reading my blog and following along with me through my crazy life. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season :)
