Monday, Monday . . .

Up early to walk at the Y this morning. Snickerdoodle muffins are baking in the oven. Miranda is off to school already. The other kids are all stilll sleeping. It is a quiet house.

This weekend we took down our Christmas decorations. As I was putting away the Nativity, I noticed someone gave Mary a rose:

I've had a Nativity set for about 15 years now (thanks, mom and dad). Every year when I go to put the pieces away, I have to test out the different spots to see which one fit which piece. Finally, this year, after years of thinking about it, I labeled the spots for each figure in the foam container when taking them out to set them up. Easy peasy putting them away this year.

Brad took Merek, Bird, and Lina swimming Saturday for a few hours so I could get everything put away. All the ornaments and decor--it always surprises me how long it really takes to put it all away.

We still have our Christmas cards up on the door leading into the garage though. I'll probably take those down next weekend. It is fun to see so many of our family and friends everyday.

It was fun to read your comments on Friday--thanks for taking the time to leave them!

Random winner of the beautiful purple flowers . . . LYNETTE! :)  Super excited to send you a package to South Africa! How fun!

Enjoy your day :)

ps--Go SEAHAWKS!

Congrats Lynette!!!
I took down Christmas on New Years day and took the Christmas cards down yesterday. When I was packing away the nativity, I had a little Donald Duck figurine right in the middle of things! Must have been Gabe or my nephew! Kind of cute and now that I think of it, I may have a picture on my phone! Happy Monday!

We are leaving our cards up until we actually mail ours out! Don't hold your breath though... the letter is only half written, and none of the address labels are even printed.
