I'm not really complaining

Old habits die hard. I'd been eating well, and then one day of bad choices leads to another day of poor choices...letting go of that and making an extra effort today to choose wisely.

Yesterday at dinner, Brad asked, "what did you do today?" At first, I was annoyed because it seemed like he didn't think I did anything. But then I took a deep breath and calmly listed out the day's events. I'm sure he was just asking to show he cared about my day.

Here's the list: treadmill at the Y, take Miranda to Jazz Band, make breakfast and lunches, get ready for the day, drive Lina to school for crossing patrol, prepare and teach Merek's preschool co-op, laundry, mail package to South Africa, take Merek to preschool, work with reading buddy at SES, laundry, do morning dishes, chocolate-&-sprinkle-coat a dozen cake pops, take Miranda to dentist, pick up kids from school and preschool, teach three piano lessons, make dinner.

After dinner, Merek and Brad helped me clean up the kitchen. I appreciate that. I finally finished Monday's laundry piles, though there three more in the basket again already. Merek told me he was ready for bed at 7. He went up and got his jamas on. I tucked him in and he went to sleep. It's not often my 4-year-old will tell me he's ready for bed. But he will sometimes. I guess I should remember that on the nights he fights bedtime.

After folding laundry, I worked on a circle journal that needs to be mailed out this week. Then we put the other kids to bed. I finished up washing the dishes that didn't fit in the dishwasher and then got ready for bed. I started reading The Happiness Project. Have you read it? I'm just at the beginning.

This morning on the treadmill I watched Sports Center (is this becoming a habit?) and read some of the Feb Real Simple magazine. I just started a sub with it through a Special Olympics fundraiser (they always get me). An ad in the magazine and a quote inspired me to make some pages. Hopefully I'll be able to get to those soon before the inspiration goes away. Right now I'm at the dentist office while Krish gets a cavity filled. I'm posting from my Windows phone.

It's 7:30 am. Have an awesome day!

I don't know how you do it, you're a busy lady! I always get annoyed when they ask what I did today too! Do you want to know, do ya really?!!
I'm reading Happily Ever Madder (great funny read, make sure to read book#1 first though Diary of a Mad Fat Girl!) and May Cause Miracles.
Hope the rest of your day is great! We started off with a 2-hr school delay due to ice.

lol, the same thing happens to me. I don't know why I find questions to be so negative.

I'm impressed that when you post from your phone, you still have great punctuation and grammar. And here all this time I thought it was the phone's fault that people were posting stuff that was pretty much unreadable.
