January 2013 Paper Posies Projects

I'm so happy Michele (the owner at Paper Posies) has asked me to stay on the team for another term. Her kits are always so well balanced with patterns, embellishments, and an altered item. Plus, she is a delight to work with :)

The January kit has beautiful colors in it--blue, purple, greys, with a pop of yellow. And a CALENDAR! I {heart} calendars!

The calendar is a perfect item for the first kit of the year--I'm going to use each Paper Posies kit throughout the year to decorate each month's page. Here is my January one:

 I also used the kit to make the cover of the calendar.

In addition to the calendar, I put together two layouts for the DT gallery this month. The first is a 2-page layout of the kids first Snow Delay of the school year.

This second layout features my parents. I took these photos of them at Thanksgiving.
