Feb. '13 Paper Posies kit, part 1

When my February Paper Posies kit arrived, I was SO excited to see NEW Elle's Studio products in there! I've been waiting for the items to be available in Elle's shop . . . and here there were in my kit. Michele has such great connections :)

 

First up, I made the February page for my calendar that came in the January Paper Posies kit. I love this small 6x6 size for the calendar. It fits nicely by my scrap table. I used the packaging for the Basic Grey letters (the arrows print and floral border at the bottom).

 

The kit has a pack of Pink Paislee bits . . . which, honestly, I wasn't very excited about. But was proven wrong when after completing my projects realized I only had four bits left! On this card I used five of the pieces (journaling card, arrow, Love ticket, and two hearts). The "follow your heart" sentiment is an SRM sticker.

 

I loved the doily journaling card and at first planned to put a sentiment in the center of the white doily. But that pretty blue flower was saying, "use me, use me".  :) So I placed it in the center instead and used the mini Basic Grey letters for my sentiment inside of an Elle's Studio tag.

 

Tomorrow I have a layout and a Project Life spread to share using the kit as well.
