Project Life

Project Life A year-long project started by ultra-scrapper Becky Higgins.

A few weeks ago, Kimberly and I talked about having a Project Life post with the Hip 2-b Square kit each month. I had been working on Project Life since January--keeping up on the journaling, put not the layouts each week. My talk with Kimberly was just the push I needed to get things together.

I decided to just go with the current week, instead of trying to back-track.

The week title block uses the yellow grid pattern paper, along with the Jillibean Soup letter/number stickers and mini LilyBee alphas. I added a Studio Calico wood veneer with the grey dot pattern inside.
Some of my photos I printed two-up on wallet size prints. In addition to the Project Life journaling cards I ordered in December with the divided page protectors, I used the grey gingham paper, too, for one of my journaling places.
For continuity across the week spread, I used the yellow grid paper again, along with another wood veneer shape in one of the pockets. To help with specifics, I wrote in the photo margins with a thin sharpie pen. For fun little details, I added in the mini Jillibean shape (stars, hearts, tags) stickers here and there in the spread.
You'll be seeing more of these weekly spreads from me, in fact, I just finished last week's spread yesterday :)

Are you doing Project Life? I'd love to hear if you are or if you would like to but just haven't figured out how to get going with it.

This is awesome...and the one thing I cannot get started on. I ended up giving my kit to my daughter.

Looks great! I have BH old kits from when it was called Project 365. I've never been able to keep u pwith it, but I started in April when I turned 35 and thought I'd document my year of 35! I need to do a little catch up right now, but it's been going good! I've been using the kit contents plus the PS kits! I hope to blog some of mine soon!

I love this. I don't think I could do it right now, but yours is fantastic. I always love your work and like reading the journaling to see what you guys have been up to. I wish I was as motivated as you are to do these things!
