Totally true to Melanie-style, here is a linear layout with more than one photo, matted pattern paper, borders, and stitching.

I added the zig zag stitching in different places around the layout to give it a little more definition and dimension. I love tying the buttons off with the baker's twine, too.

Here I misted one of the Studio Calico wood veneers with the yellow mist in the kit. But then I swiped it with some light brown ink to tone it down just a bit. The Crate Paper button fit perfectly inside the shape.
