After yesterday's downer day, I decided to go out today and find a print of my card. :) I called Northridge Media to get a list of the stores that carry the magazine. Off we went.
Poor Merek and Bird--they trooped along with me for over 3 hours going to a fabric store (to make these), the Paper Zone looking for the publication, Fred Meyer to get these (which I got distracted in the store getting shoes for Lina's baptism and completely forgot the bags), and to The Mad Scrapper (where I found the magazine). The owner is SO sweet and took my picture with MY page. I still can't believe it! And she showed it off to the customers in the store saying, "We have a celebrity amongst us!" That completely brightened my week.
(And don't feel too bad for Merek and Bird--they got donuts from Starbucks and Happy Meals during the trip).
I'm smiling today--are you? :)

Sounds like a fun day for all... especially YOU! Glad you finally found a copy. I'm beginning to think I may have to take a 3-hour drive to find those mags myself! LOL!

Congrats that is so cool! You do make the best cards! I think I will do this when my layouts come out in Memory Makers in May...maybe I can get them to announce it over the loud speaker in Walmart! lol
