We are foster-parenting two cats, Rex and Sally. My sweet friend needed a place for them to go because they just found out her little boy is super allergic to the cats. The Humane Society can't take them until Oct. 6th. So, until then, we have cats.My kids (and DH) have begged for years to have a pet. I thought this would be a good opportunity to try it out and see how things go. It's been two days and the cats rarely come out from under the couch or our bed. M is has been able to get Rex out from under the couch. Lina will just lay on my bedroom floor and watch Sally under the bed.
I've thought about trying to keep them. But, honestly, we really don't have a good place for them. The litter boxes and their food are in the laundry room, and it is a small room. I have to manuever around everything and hope no clean clothes fall on the floor for now.
But it is kind of fun to have them in the house. :)

Cats? I could never do that. Especially not in my house. :)
Your amazing! How do you have time for all of everything! HOw fun for the kids :) even if it's only for a bit!
Great job on our craftin too!
ha ha I'm with Amy on that! I have never been a cat lover. Plus Jadyn is allergic so I couldn't, even if I wanted to! But I think it is a very nice thing of you to do! Hopefully they will end up in a loving family that will care for them just as great as you all have! :o)
