Here is the layout I put together:
It is interesting to see how a layout can change and unfold as you work on it. Originally, I was going to use a different photo, but then saw this one on my shelf. Then I had pulled out products to use with it, and changed to this Scarlet Lime kit (that I purchased on a whim with some Christmas money last January). I used the tag from the Kaiser Craft rubon bag (a cool thick plastic bag with a ziploc-type closure!). I just kep adding little things here and there--my favorite things to add were the butterflies from the ribbon in the kit. This photo is of my three older sisters at Christmastime in 1970. My mom made all of their dresses. Three girls ages four and under and she was sewing--amazing! My mom has talent!! And look at their cute hairdos! This picture makes me smile--and really appreciate my mom :)
I asked her what she thought the title of the layout should be. That is how I came up with "Blessings". Love you, mom!
