This morning I woke up feeling cold. I went downstairs and spent sometimes gathering items for my Sunday School lesson. We had some goodies to take to the Outreach Bake Sale at St. Michael's so I wrapped those up, labeled, and priced them. I also wrapped up a plate of two dozen cookies to leave for the Messiah Sing-a-long that afternoon.
We all got ready for church and headed off to St. Michael's. Miranda wanted to go to her Sunday School class with the ward so we took two cars. The kids had singing time for the first 20 minutes of Sunday School. Merek had to go to the restroom twice during that time. At least he doesn't hold it until the last minute! While we were in the bathroom, I felt a little light-headed and dizzy but just thought it was because I hadn't eaten breakfast.
I went back and taught my Sunday School class their lesson. We made lumiaries out of brown paper bags and talked about the light of Christ and sharing it with those around us, especially during this season of the year. Merek was fully of energy after Sunday School so I spent the rest of church with him in the foyer. After service, the bake sale commenced. We bought way too many treats. And Lina bought the plate of fudge we took! She is so silly.
Brad took the boys home and the girls went with me to the ward meetings. I stayed in the foyer visiting with Heather during Sunday School. Matthew was hanging out with her. He interacted with me quite a bit. We played hide-n-seek with his Angry Birds pig. It was quite the step forward for him to even talk to me. He usually will hide his face in his mom's shirt when I talk to him. I didn't have to play the piano in RS because someone else already said they would. I sat in the back by Kirsten and her cute baby, Townes. The lesson was on forgiveness by Sister Bean and President Johnson. I had a hard time focusing on the lesson because I was feeling really tired.
When we got home, I ate a turkey sandwich. Because I still felt cold, I was wearing my coat. I laid down on the couch and fell asleep for about two hours. The boys were watching the Seahawks game. When I woke up, I felt really tired and went to change into my pajamas. After dinner, I tried to get some things done but eventually went to bed at 9:20pm and slept until almost 8:30 Monday morning.
