The September Scarlet Lime kits were packed with new products and a really cool mix of colors. I loved the purple and orange and green combo.
These first three projects are with the Main kit.
First up, I altered a 4x6 dollar-spot Target frame. Using 7gypsies gaffer taper, I wrapped the frame. Then I made an inset with orange and purple patterned papers. Adding the sticker sentiments, felt and fabric embellishments, I decorated the inset with an Anthologie ad in mind. (The DT had been given two Anthologie ads to use as "sketch" inspirations).
AmyInKy gave me the idea from her comment on my Birthday Wish Lists post to scrap the wish lists. So, here is Miranda's typed up, along with a photo of her taken the day before her birthday. The kits this month did not include an alphabet sticker set so I had to be creative with the titles. Oh, and I was so happy to find a cute use for the adorable Prima stamp :) Got a little crazy with the rub-ons in the background but I like how it all turned out.
The Cosmo Cricket sentiment stickers were fun to use as a background here on this card. I found the ones that seemed to go with the Hey There sentiment and layered them on top of the purple patterned paper.
These next three projects are with the Frugal FAB kit--always a ton of embellishments in the Frugal FAB.
This is probably my favorite card I made with the kits. Love that little elephant sticker from Glitz. I added a birthday sentiment from SRM.
Another circus sticker from Glitz reminded me of a fun time so I thought it would go well on a Birthday card. Again, another SRM sentiment.

And this layout makes me happy. I loved using the Glitz text paper (with butterflies, of course) for Lina's piano recital page. The Basic Grey rub ons provided a nice patterned corner. I layered up some strips of patterned paper, added some of the dimensional stickers and the glitz clear stickers (which I'm growing to love) . . . and then what to do for a title? I was a bit perplexed, but then decided to use the frame rub on and just handwrite the title in. It's small, but I really like how the photos really draw your eye into the center of this page. Oh, and a few flecks of green and orange mists finished off the layout.
That's it for this month's Scarlet Lime projects. Both kits are already sold out. You've got to grab them while they are hot! Or subscribe, then you are sure to get one :)
Enjoy your day!
