Happy Birthday, Miranda! Wow, 12 years old today. You are an amazing young lady and we are so proud of all that you do. You are smart, you are kind . . . so responsible and caring. You are admirable, just like the meaning of your name. Love you, sweet girl!
For breakfast, Miranda wanted crepes--with strawberries and nutella.
A good friend gave me a recipe for strawberry sauce, so I made that to top the crepes, along with fresh strawberries.
She requested tortellini for dinner, with butter and parmesan. And dad's fruit salad. It's a good thing dad is flying in from Dublin today so he can make that.
She has cross country practice after school, then Lina and Krish both have soccer. So we won't actually be eating dinner until around 7:30. (And tonight is Middle School curriculum night, but I am **gasp** skipping it). Then cake and presents. We do pretty low-key birthdays in our household. No party for her this year . . . we alternate years, so the boys have parties on their even-year birthdays, the girls on their odd-year birthdays. (Although, we still haven't had Bird's bday party and his birthday was in July . . . ).
Merek and I are baking her cake this morning. Fun, fun!
Happy Birthday, Miranda :)

She's such a pretty girl. Hope she enjoyed her day! Those crepes looked pretty yummy! And I love that she has hand sanitizer on her birthday list. Bryn just recently asked me if I could get her some from Bath & Body Works next time I'm there. I said, "You have plenty of hand sanitizer already." She said, "Well, when I run out of that kind, will you buy me something from Bath & Body Works?"
Must be the new thing??? LOL
Yummy.Crepes with nutella and strawberry sauce. :)
Happy birthday to Miranda...those crepes looks so yummy. We call them pancakes in SA...and what you call pancakes we call crumpets;-)
