Today's Tuesday

It's good day. I like that we start the week already one day in. Yesterday seemed like the weekend to me. Melanie and Lindsey came over to crop with me. They brought their cute boys and all 8 kids had a fun time together.

Went for a walk with Stanley this morning. So happy that it wasn't raining. It's hard to get out of bed that early but once I do and I'm out walking with Stanley I feel so much better.

Kids are off to school. Poor things--I served such a sugar-laden breakfast this morning: hot cocoa, toast with nutella and sprinkles, and a banana. Lunches will be a little healthier: chicken salad sandwich, apple, string cheese, and bunny grahams.

Household chores to do--laundry, dishes, a bit of vacuuming.

Interior designer coming to do some finishing work on the dining room (this isn't a splurge for me . . . we are trading services. Her design work for my house; I teach her girls piano lessons).

Lunch with KK.

Would love to make a trip to Great Harvest, but since we still have two store-bought loaves on the counter that can wait until Thursday or Friday.

M has piano lessons this afternoon.

DH has a late meeting so won't be home for dinner. Let's see . . . should I offer cold cereal or mac-n-cheese? Well, I could try a little harder and make tortellini. They would love that.

PT appointment.

This day seems like it will be so relaxing. I'm excited!

Hope you enjoy your 18th day of January :)

Hope you have a good day. That's cool that you have an interior designer working on a room. :)

One of my favorite easy pasta dinners is tortellini with sliced ham, peas, mushrooms and alfredo sauce. Everyone loves this comfort food (though the kiddo's usually pick out the mushrooms).
