| This is the picture we ended up choosing. |
I'm so bummed that I didn't take a picture of all the ones we received this year. I hang them up on our door leading from the entryway to the garage. It just looks so fun to see the big collage of cards.
In the past I have put them all in an album. But last year I didn't get it done and they are still in a stack. And now I have this year's stack. I cannot throw them away or cut them up. Just not something I can do. Call me sentimental.
But I saw this fabulous idea on the Work In Progress Blog yesterday. I may try this. It is a fun (and easy!) idea.
Do you have a tried-and-true storage process for the cards you receive each year? Please share--I'd love to read them :)

Hello! Again, love your christmas photo! I like the album link, good idea! I still have mine hanging, not ready to take them down yet! I still have my Dec magnetic calendar on the fridge too!
Love that idea from WIP! I have my cards in big envelopes by year "waiting" to do something with them. Love their idea...might just do that...
Your photo is SO SO SO awesome, love it!!
My storage for cards that aren't handmade is: recycling bin, almost immediately, LOL.
What a LOVELY family photo, Melanie! It says "Happiness Lives Here" :)
Mel, you amaze me. You radiate such peace and love. You are definitely a wonder to behold. Your family is beautiful and such a good example to us. Thank you.
Hehe...it will be in time for next Christmas. Off to check out the "work in progress" blog.
LOVE the picture you picked for your cards this year. You had a great photo shoot. So glad you are getting them out. This is the first year in 10 years that I didn't get to send any cards and I feel guilty for it.
The idea on WIP is great. I have so many years just waiting for me to do something with them that I might just have to try to do this (starting with this year and working backwards).
I make a pocket on a layout to hold all the christmas cards I received that year and put it in my Christmas album for that year.
