Spring projects for a rainy day

Last week during Spring Break the girls and I did a bit of crafting together. I wanted to use up the Making Memories flutter products I had on hand and finish up my March Paper Posies kit. Shemaine at Paper Posies posted a challenge to make a set of mini-cards. Here is my set:

Mom--if you are reading this you have just seen your Mother's Day gift :)

Below is a banner I put together after seeing this Spring Banner by Becky on the October Afternoon blog. In addition to the MM products I added some ribbon, flowers, brads, crepe paper, and chipboard letters from my stash.

Lina is so happy to have this hanging in her bedroom right now :)

Krish is disappointed because to day was supposed to be his first baseball practice. He has been counting down the days! Oh well--guess we'll have to wait until Thursday. Even though it is raining today, I'm enjoying it. Rain makes it seem like spring, plus it is watering my raspberry bush that I planted yesterday. My friend, Christine, gave me part of her raspberry bush that she had trimmed back. I'm so excited and hope it will grow. I don't really have a green thumb. But thought it would be fun to try--fresh raspberries during the summer . . . YUM!

I always love your cards, they are so pretty! What a great gift idea too! The banner is so fun too! Gabe should have his first baseball practice any day too! And I tried a raspberry bush once, but the deer kept eating it! Have a great day!

The banner is so cute! And your cards... actually I came to your blog because I need to make 14 cards this week and I needed inspiration.
