April Paper Posies projects

April's Paper Posies kit is beautiful! Echo Park's For the Record combined with some Crate Paper Portrait--lovely! I made two cards and two layouts with the kit.

For this first card, I wanted to use the bird cage rub on. The sentiment comes from "Finding Nemo" when Deb talks to Flo (her reflection). I don't know why, but that just popped into my head as I thought of this bird in the cage, trying to talk to any other bird flying by.

Love how this card turned out! The Maya Road flowers are gorgeous and add such a beautiful touch to any project! 

These photos of Merek had been sitting on my desk for about a month. The monthly challenge over at Paper Posies for April is to use a Crate Paper border sticker, the text printed paper, and RECORD somewhere on your layout. So this is how it all came together with the photos.

The design for this layout may look a little familiar. Sometimes I like to scraplift myself. Why reinvent the wheel, right? The Harry Potter tag is one from the girls' shirts that they bought at the exhibition.

This was an easy kit to work with! Everything came together so well.
