It's February!

What? I haven't updated my blog yet this month? Well, that's life. :)

Thanks for comments on my Tangled post and the ideas through email and phone calls. Last night Lina and I went shopping to pick up the supplies. We have the party all set for Saturday. Tomorrow I'm baking cupcakes. SO excited!

Yesterday I posted on the Polka Dot Whimsy blog about some inspiration. It is a quick post . . . and maybe it will inspire you :)

Monday I posted a challenge on the Paper Posies blog. Simply make a layout about your Month in Review.

Friday (the 4th) at 10am PST I'm hosting the live chat at Paper Posies. Join us if you can. It is a fun time getting to know each other and talk scrap.

I finished up my Scarlet Lime projects today with the February kit--they will go live on Monday the 7th in the gallery. Oh, and I'm posting on the SL blog that day--I'm posting a challenge.

Yesterday I picked up my January Hip 2-b Square kit. Will start working on that this weekend AFTER the party. It is a fun one!

Oh, and tonight, I just booked us a family trip. What?! That was crazy! But, you know, sometimes if we wait to do something it will never happen. I'll be working hard the next few months to make up for that spent moolah.

And since I've mentioned each of the kit clubs in one post (faux pax #976 of mine--I'm sure the kit-club-blogging-etiquette-police are after me now) I might as well direct you on over to the SRM Stickers blog (completing my DT links). Starting on Feb. 1st and continuing each weekday for the next two weeks, the new design team members are being introduced. I'm scheduled for later next week I think. Go check out the gorgeous projects posted each day.

One more quick note since I won't write it down anywhere else--tonight was Krish's 1st Grade concert. LOVED it! 23 minutes and DONE! The set of songs were so fun and the best I have ever heard at an elementary school concert. The kids had a great time singing the songs and dancing--loved seeing Krish groovin' to the Hip Hop song. "V-A-L! E-N-T! I-N-E! Valentine!" And then blow me a kiss at the end. SWEET!

That's all for tonight. No photos. Lots of links and words. Allie, please edit as you wish (hope you are surviving all of that snow in Boston!) ;)

You are mom of five and you are DT to so many clubs....I admire you tremendously Melanie, I don't know how you do it.
