It was really fun to work with the January Hip 2-b Square kit.
Loved the combination of colors.
This first layout is of one of my piano students. She came to lessons one day following a birthday party. They had decorated cupcakes at the party. The cupcakes were SO cute that I had to take some pics. I'm going to give her this page for her scrapbook.
The design team used this CK sketch layout for inspiration on our two-page spread this month:Here is the result of my interpretation:
Every Tuesday I get to meet Kay and Stephanie for lunch. The kids have a great time playing. Since Bird will be going to kindergarten in the fall I wanted to be sure to take some pics of his little buddies.
I'm sure someday Merek will not be happy about all the feminine items he is photographed with. But, seriously, this bag is a favorite of his. He loves to take it everywhere!
I'm working on my mini this weekend and hope it to have it done to share on Monday. Enjoy your day!

Love the cupcake layout and the stitching on the bag layout is very nice. Really like the dotted alpha!
All of the layouts are great. The story behind the "bag" layout is my favorite. Kevin used to carry a bag around full of his toys when we ran errands, but since he didn't have older sisters, his bag was wither a mini Gap duffle or one of Blake's old Gap lunchboxes. :)
Beautiful pages, Melanie! Love all your banners! And those cupcakes ARE adorable!
Have a great week & a HAPPY Valentine's Day!
Big hugs...
Hey Mel, look at those banners! I finally put a couple on some layouts this weekend! Hoping to get pictures posted of them soon!
