Snippets of Time

I'm often asked, "When do you have time to scrapbook?" :) The answer: I find snippets of time throughout the week. Here is my process:

First, I will lay out the products that I'm going to be using.
Then I choose and print out the photos I would like to scrap. Cropping and sorting comes next.
Matching up photos and papers comes next.

Don't laugh at my rough sketches! But this is how I do it--doodling on a random piece of paper when inspiration strikes (in this case, at church).

And then, I get to work on putting everything together--again in snippets of time. Here are a couple of peeks at the projects I've been working on this week:

Do you recognize the photos and papers from the earlier pics? One of the sketches?
Check back next week and I'll have all of the projects posted for you to see how they turned out.
What's your process?

I just love seeing how your mind works! It's funny to know you sketch ideas at church! :)
I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product, too.

This is too funny because I was planning to do a post similar to this on how I create with my HIP kits. Great minds, Melanie.... :-)

Can't wait to see what you've created! I'm ALMOST finished myself. Just need to tackle the 2-pager & make my travel item.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Everything happens in my head but it is quite similar. Still have to get started on the kit but difficult without a kit.

I always wondered how you do it. You have found a creative process that works for you.

Idk if blogger is leaving my comments. It is being slow & I am impatient. I really like your process...in church part was good! lol Since Im on a sketch design team, I usually just print the pictures for that sketch & use my newest kits, but I havent gotten much done lately! ;(

I do something similar, only working at several projects at one time.
One great thing I learned from you is that I am not the only one sketching in church. From now on I'll take my sketch book. Sometimes it can get boring otherwise. (still feeling guilty about it though)
