For my Thanks card, I used the top part of some Pink Paislee packaging. I loved the shape of it and wanted to add it on a project somewhere. The butterflies were a last-minute addition. So glad to have that Martha Stewart punch!Thursday, October 7, 2010
September Hip Cards and Journal
This month the design team was asked to make two cards and a travel project. My first card is for my BIL who just celebrated his 51st birthday. I thought the "Been There, Done That" sticker totally fit him and his personality. Inside, I wrote, "Have a Happy Birthday anyway."

I'm not a huge commenter, but I do really love your blog! I found you via Valerie the other day.
My fav punch is my MS butterfly punch. If you love that, you would love the Stampin' Up butterfly sizzlit embossing folder......I use that a ton too!
Your projects are gorgeous! I love stitching and I see you do too.
Oh my, I love these projects! Such cute cards! The travel journal will be so cool to go thru when your parents get back! I have a journal that I've take on cruises and trips and write in it every night of vacation! It's so fun to go back thru and read! And that butterfly punch is cute!
Love journals! The way you used that butto border is very inspiring. I have something similar with ladybugs, might use it on a journal cover too :)
The cards are gorgeous and I absolutely adore the travel journal.
Cute cards, as always and I love the journal.

Gorgeous cards Melanie...and I adore the stitching on them.
Love those cards. So clever to use the Pink Paislee packaging on the thanks card. Have fun on your cruise!
