October Challenges=FUN!

Two of my favorite online sites have some fun challenges this month. PersonalScrapper has a month-long Croptoberfest with a challenge for every day of the month! Pencil Lines is celebrating their 4th anniversary and has some fun sketches from the archives that the design team picked to use. I've been doing a bit of scrapping during my more energetic rest periods. I have a STACK of photos that I've been slowly making my way through, trying to keep things simple and using sketches to keep my brain from working overtime :)


PS challenge #2 from Lydia--use at least 3 circles on your page. Pencil Lines sketch 209--I used the Hip 2b Square August kit for this layout.

PS Challenge #25 from Debbie: use pop dots, chipboard, buttons. Pencil Lines 43--Hip 2b Square August kit

PS Challenge #26 from Kelly: use older papers or scraps for a layout. Pencil Lines 41--Imaginesce papers and Jillibean soup letters. I made the baseball. Thanks, Amy, for the title inspiration :)

PS Challenge #7 by Melanie: Homemade Embellie. I made the soccer balls. Pencil Lines 103-- Bella Blvd papers, Paper Trunk alphas.

PS Challenge #13 by Lynette: Use punches or your die cut machine for your layout. Pencil Lines 103 again--Bella Blvd papers, American Crafts and Creative Memories alphas; again, my soccer ball creations that I made using a CM hexagon punch. 

PS Challenge #6 by Lynette: Two-pager with at least 5 photos; Pencil Lines #47.  My Little Shoebox papers; Basic Grey papers, pop stickers, labels; American Crafts letters; my soccer ball design (again!) :)

In my previous post, I made a Halloween banner for Lydia's PS challenge #30 to make something for Halloween. My Scarlet Lime layouts fulfilled challenges #22 Family (by Jewels) "Picnic at the Park", #16 Glitz (by Lenore) "Already", #23 Border Punch (by Sheila) "Birthday Treat", and #28 Ribbon border (by Heather) "Eleven. I have photos for Emma's "things" challenge but still need to print them out.

Not sure I'll get all of the Personal Scrapper challenges done or finish all of the sketches, but it is fun to make a dent in my stack of photos and use some fun products :)
