On Friday I got to watch sweet little Esme for the day. It was really fun to watch Merek with her. He kept wanting to hold her, with his arm around her shoulder. Every so often, he would pat her shoulder with his hand. He'd sit there all casual with an occasional sideways glance at her. Wouldn't it be too funny if they ever ended up dating?
Christian was really helpful with Esme. As I was making lunch for the boys, he talked to her while she was laying on her blanket in the family room. He said to me, "Mom, Esme has really pretty blue eyes." He is so sweet! 
We really enjoyed having a little baby in the house again. :)

Esme does have really pretty eyes! Christian is right. The photo of Merek & Esme cracks me up - too cute!
