Happy Birthday Banner

The girls' third grade teacher has asked me to make a couple of banners for her this year. The latest request was a Happy Birthday banner, "in spring colors, like pastels", she said. This is what I came up with:

I used Momenta's 5x7 cardstock stack for the bases, cutting them in half to measure 5x3-1/2. Then I trimmed out the "v" in the bottom and used the Fiskars treading water border punch for the tops.
I added in pattern paper from Momenta's Life's A Party Paper Pad. Each square is machine stitched to the pennant. The scallop circles were punched with my fav Marvy Uchida scallop punch.
The letters were die cut with my Slice machine, Dilly Dally card. At first I just had the white letters, but then decided the grey shadow would make the letters pop more. Love the results!

Products Used:

Momenta 5x7 Vibrant Cardstock (PA-1123)
Momenta Life's A Party Pyramid Pad (PA-2386)
Marvy Uchida Scallop Circle Punch
Making Memories Slice Machine
Dilly Dally Card
