Creating with sketches

Last week I had a tutorial up on the Hip blog about creating with sketches. You can see it HERE.

Each month there are two sketch challenges on the Hip Blog. Anyone can participate! You should totally try it out. Great prizes to be won :)

This month our sketch is from Creative Scrappers:

My layout stuck pretty close to the sketch:

 I used the yellow dot paper as a large pocket and only adhered the sides and bottom. I have several pieces of memorabilia from the tea that are tucked neatly behind inside the pocket.

 Using the grid stamp in the Embellishment add-on gave a little more dimension to the area with the three squares.
