April Paper Posies kit--perfect for spring!

Can I be honest? I've never been a big BoBunny fan. When I heard it was in the April Paper Posies kit, I wasn't very excited. (Hopefully, no BoBunny rep is reading this. ha! I like the looks of the products, just have a hard time using it). But I LOVE Bella Blvd so I was excited to see it was in there as well.
So to challenge myself when the kit arrived, I made myself use the BoBunny papers first. And guess what--they were perfect for these photos :)

I mainly used the Bella Blvd. papers as accent patterns. And I love the BoBunny chipboard pieces.
I added a doily, cut in half, this layout.
(Both of these layouts are from sketches by Creative Scrappers, Kristine Davidson. Her sketches are right up my linear-style alley).

The gems and flowers that are in the kit weren't available in time for the design team packages. But that is ok with me--I used several flowers from my stash. Plastic, felt, paper . . . loved using them.

The Bella Blvd. sentiment stickers were great for a card and I thought these two birds on the BoBunny paper would be good to use with the sentiment.

And, because I was in a challenging mood, I went for the whole shebang and worked with the altered project in the kit. Originally, it says A Tisket A Tasket inside of the frame. I covered it with pattern paper, then layered the welcome letter stickers on top of another sticker that I knew I wouldn't use the saying for.
To make the ribbon banner at the bottom, I simply snipped a few 1 inch strips of ribbon. Then I layered them on a piece of double-sided tape (fronts to the tape), and adhered it to the back of the frame.

You can see all of the Paper Posies design team projects HERE. Go check it out--awesome beauty.

You did a great job on these layouts. I like how you used the Bo Bunny supplies...even if they aren't your faves you did a great job.

I too have a really hard time using Bo Bunny (the same as with most of Basic Grey)! You did a great job on your layouts--am looking forward to getting my kit in the mail.
