Graduation sentiments . . .

Monday is here. I know on Friday I said my June Scarlet Lime projects would be posted today. However, graduation cards are on the SRM blog today so I thought a coordinated post would be fitting.
(SL projects will post tomorrow--promise! Actually, if you head over to the Scarlet Lime blog today you will get to see one of my projects).

The local scrapbook store, Hip 2-b Square Scrapbooking, brought in a line of papers for our town's high school. They were perfect for a couple of grads that I wanted to make cards for. Paired up with SRM Graduation stickers and WAH-LAH!

While we were visiting my parents over Memorial Day weekend, Mom asked me to make some graduation cards for her to give away to graduates from her local school (my alma mater).  Loved using the orange and black color combo :) Go Tigers!
SRM stickers:
Quick Cards #52024 Class of 2011
Sticker Sentiments #51013 Congratulations
Year Of Memories #48003 2011

Did you have a good weekend? Both Saturday and Sunday were in the 70's--we had not had 70-degree weather in something like 277 days! It was glorious :) Saturday was baseball games for the boys. The kids helped DH wash the cars. And we had a DATE night! Hooray! We went to see the new X-Men movie.

Sunday morning we attended church. When we came home, the kids set up umbrellas, blankets, and pillows in the backyard. They rested and read books. It amazed me how long they actually relaxed! We went to meet our new neighbors moving in across the street. The house has been empty for over 2 years so we are looking forward to having them there. DH grilled some Korean beef for dinner. I sure love that he cooks on the weekends!

This week is packed with activity--last week of Little League games. I think we have 8 games on the schedule this week. But rain is in the forecast so we will see if they are all played. Last PTSA meeting (I'm not going to be on the board next year), school Variety Show (one of my piano students is performing), Field Day, Volunteer Tea, piano lessons, and Lina's recital.

If you have any quick and easy dinner idea, throw them at me :)

Adorable cards! I need to make a graduation card soon, as I'm attending a party next week! Thanks for the inspo!

And ps... I think your son burping all the time is hilarious. Sorry, Melanie! I'm all about potty humor... LOL!
