Today I have the cards I made with the April Hip 2-b Square kit to share with you.
The first three cards I basically used the same design . . . just switched a few things up with each one.
I love butterflies and these Jillibean Soup ones are probably some of my favorites. (And aren't those buttons adorable?)
This last card was the simplest to make . . . and may be my favorite of the bunch.
Last full day of school today. Bird, Merek, and I are heading to the zoo for the preschool celebration day. Krish has his 1st grade celebration after lunch that DH will attend. M has her 6th grade celebration--they are going to the local theater to see Kung Fu Panda 2 and having a BBQ. (At this point I will not get on my soapbox about activities' educational value). I have no idea what Lina is doing in class today other than cleaning out her desk.
Friday is a half-day. The last day of school always means mom meets the bus with a plate of fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies. Believe it or not, I actually do NOT have a bag of chocolate chips in my house. Hmmmm . . . guess that means I'd better stop at the grocery today. How in the world could I not have chocolate chips at my house? Oh yes, that's right, probably for the same reason I only have ONE box of brownie mix in my cupboard. Too much of a temptation.
Sorry, Mom and Tiffany. I know you'll both be disappointed in my not having a year's supply.

Adorable cards, as always, Melanie! And how sweet that you meet your kids at the bus with a plate of cookies! Hope you managed to buy a bag of chocolate chips in time! :-)
I have been hoping Iris' card would make it on your blog. I really loved it so much. You are so kind and talented.
Your cards are just so beautiful. I like how you used the same general design for a few them, but mixed up the embellishments. You're too creative! ;)
