I LOVE the May Scarlet Lime Main kit! It is full of bright colors.
Hmmm . . . I think I'm liking this two-page lined-up-photos-with-a-big-circle design. :)
Love the little pinkwheel stickers, too, from Basic Grey.
I pleated the ribbon along the edge and sewed down the middle to hold the pleats.
This is one of my favorite ways to use ribbon.
I used the rest of the wide ribbon to make a little rosette next to the journaling box.
To make the rosette, I baste stitched along one edge of the ribbon,
then just gathered it into a circle, tying the thread ends together.
When I saw the Glitz sticker sentiment "Our Life As We Know It",
I thought of this silly family photo.
I layered a Sassafrass heart sticker on cardstock for the center of the
Sassafrass dimensional flower. I clustered that with the BG pinwheel,
the journaling box, and another Sassafrass sticker (the arrow).
The Frugal FAB kit has some beautiful papers in it! Loved the colors. I knew
right away I had to use the Glitz butterfly paper. I *heart* butterflies :)
At first I wasn't sure about combining the bright WRMK label sticker
with the muted 7gypsies chip letters, but I think it worked out.
I added some butterflies--one was cut from the patterned paper,
the others were punched out with one of my Martha Stewart
butterfly punches (I won't tell you how many I have).
This last layout came together pretty quickly. I had actually cut out the star-bordered circle for another photo but then decided not to use that photo on a layout with this kit. Then I remembered I had wanted to scrap this photo of my boys on Easter with the kit.
The title is stamped with the WRMK stamp in the kit. I added the 7gypsies clips behind the photo mat so they just look like squares, instead of showing the whole clip. And I had to add the Glitz butterfly stamp sticker--because it was a butterfly. See--you can use ribbon and butterflies on boy layouts :)

YOu have produced some seriously AWESOME projects. I am always very very partial to 2-pagers because they really are difficult to do, so impressive is yours!!!! This looks like an amazingly delightful kit. When things calm down, I have to re-sub again.
Wow, stunning pages Melanie. I love how you used the ribbon and you will see me using ribbon in a similar way soon.
Gorgeous projects, as always! I especially love the family photo page!
Beautiful job on all the layouts.
