Hip 2-b Square December Kit Projects

Oh, my friends, this kit was so fun to play with! You must get one! :)

I'll start with the cards: This next one was inspired by a Pam Callahan sketch. She has a cool blog with Ideas for Scrapbookers. Check it out--you'll see my card there in a week or two :) :)
I love how this October Afternoon card turned out:

The idea for this first LO came to me in the middle of the night. Does that ever happen to you? I had to get up and make a sketch of it so I wouldn't forget the next day (haha). (Sorry about the carpet in the shot--I was taking the photos quickly before running the LO's up to Kimberly).

For this two-page spread I used a PageMap by Becky Fleck. These pictures of Merek just crack me up. He loved sneaking around to the back of the tree to check out all of the ornaments.

Another middle-of-the-night idea--the whole "cluster with circles"--that had to be sketched out in my notebook at 3am. I added Stickles on the trees and snowflakes for a fun touch.

The idea for this punched border came from the Scrapbook Trends Dec.09 issue. This LO was a super quick one--done in 30 minutes. Gotta love those!

And, last, my awesome piano students at their Christmas recital. It was perfect to have the music note border sticker to use on this page.

Thanks for looking at my work. Hope you had a Merry Christmas!
