It was quite cold here last week--in the 20's--cold for here. This weekend we heard the the falls were frozen. So Sunday afternoon we took the kids down for a looksy. Not entirely frozen, but quite pretty. I love living just up the road from this wonder of nature. (Just for a better understanding for those of you not in our area, these falls are actually taller than Niagara Falls). It was snowing while we were there and continued snowing lightly through the night. The girls had a two-hour delay for school yesterday. The boys went at their normal times (note to self: PM kindergarten and preschool are the way to go). Last night it was sleeting and a bit icy this morning, but no delay. Poor Lina slipped on her bum on her way out the door to the bus. Thankfully she got up laughing and just brushed herself off. It is supposed to warm up here this week into the 40's and probably no snow for Christmas. Oh well--we got our fair share last year :)
