July Paper Posies projects

This month's Paper Posies kit is packed
with colors perfect for summer.
October Afternoon's 9 to 5 line and Crate Paper's Storyteller line
blend really well.
And I love the OA flower sack included in the kit, as you can see from the amount I used on this first layout :)  (even the pennants in the banner were a flower shape cut into triangles).
This second layout is for the monthly challenge--which I am hosting on the Paper Posies message board HERE. My idea for the challenge came from the names of the two paper lines in the kit. The challenge is to use: 9 embellishments, two photos, and 5 different pattern papers. Plus, tell the the story of your photos.
The altered project in the July kit is a white plastic pencil box. I decorated it and labeled it with Lina's name. She is always looking for containers for her "stuff". I thought this would be fun for her to have in her desk at school this fall.
Be sure to check out the Paper Posies kits HERE. Visit tomorrow for one more project, a card, that I made with the kit.

Cute pages, Melanie! Love all the journaling & photos you included! And the pencil case is adorable! Can't believe school starts in less than a month for us!

Posies remains the top of my favorite kits. It was my first kit subscription... started with their first kit way back then... Your creations are just lovely!
