Friday the 13th

Do you consider this an unlucky day? The whole "Friday the 13th" always comes to mind for me. Guess growing up with the movies influenced my thoughts. (Although I never did actually watch the movies).

Last year Lina crashed her bike on Friday the 13th and I mentioned that it was an unlucky day. So now my kids think that.

This past week the kids and I were over visiting my parents. DH was out of the country on a business trip. We enjoyed the time over there, especially the heat. It was about 100 degrees everyday. The kids played in the sprinklers and in the yard. I got their school supply shopping done, too. Nice to have that checked off the to-do list.

Thankfully I got them done about a month ago because between my back issues,having the kids home (which I love), and preparing for camp, my creative time has been ZERO.
