The Hip 2-b Square June kit is full of product from all different companies . . . Basic Grey, My Mind's Eye, Jillibean Soup, Sassafrass, Maya Road, Lily Bee, American Crafts . . . Kimberly continues to amaze me with her combination of manufacturers.
I really enjoyed using the Maya Road stamp set that was an add-on this month. Perfect for titles and cards.
It is hard to believe the weekend is already upon us! We had beautiful weather at the beginning of the week and now the skies have turned cloudy and gray. Though I'm not complaining since our air-conditioning isn't working! Frustrating since we just had a new system installed last fall. Oh well . . . I guess our energy bill will be lower next month :)
This morning I went in for a long-overdue hair appointment. My last time in the salon was early-December. The stylist I had gone to before was unavailable until the end of July and I didn't want to wait that long. So I booked an appt. with Marika, who cut Bird's hair the other day. A little hesitant about going to someone new . . . but I'm so happy! 1) The color looks great and perfect for summer, and 2) she trimmed my hair JUST LIKE I ASKED HER TO. I haven't had a trim like this for years . . . stylists always give me too many layers and texturize my hair too much. So I'm very excited and will definitely be going back to her.
Funny how small things like that can make one so happy.
Be sure to check out the SRM blog today--it's the last day of NEW release reveals. And leave a comment on each of the this week's post. They are drawing a name this weekend from all of the comments to win the whole new line of stickers. Cool!
Enjoy your weekend . . . oh, and please stop by on Sunday for a fun sketch reveal and projects ;)

Yes my friend...happiness are usually found in the little things of life.
Oh you lucky girl. You've already got the June kit. LOVE all your layouts especially the birthday one.
Beautiful layouts. I really enjoyed meeting Kimberly from Hip 2-b Square when I visited my daughter in Snoqualmie. I walked out with lots of goodies and wound up buying another suitcase to bring everything back to Germany :-)
No photo of the new "do?". :-)
Love the new LO's...fun banners in your titles!
Hi Melanie! I love this layout with the soft and lovely colors! I can learn so much from you by studying the layouts! I didn't know you are a piano teacher! Here's a link of my son's piano duet if interested. Thanks so much for your sweet comment and support! http://virginialusblog.blogspot.com/2011/06/tuesday-trigger.html
Great layouts! Love the banner on Lina's page. The miniature golf one is my favorite - love the mix of patterns. Cute, cute pages. :)
