Thanks to my awesome blog readers--YOU--I received a pack of the new Basic Grey Life of the Party Line. The colors in this pack were so so fun to work with and matched really well with the SRM birthday sticker colors. I made two layouts and a card. They are featured today on the SRM blog, along with some beautiful projects by Amy Crockett.
My first project was this layout about Bird going to Space Camp. There was a photo in the paper about the camp. Only the top of Bird's head can be seen, but I included it because it has such a good summary of what they did at the camp. I cut an 8-1/2x11 page protector to house the photo, then added it to the layout, along with Bird's name tag and a photo of him with his rocketship.
The SRM Extra Large number stickers were perfect for the countdown :)
I made this two-page layout next with photos from Krish's 7th birthday last fall. Recognize the design? Told you I'd used it again :)
The Extra Large number sticker came in handy again, and the cupake and tag stickers matched perfectly!
With these fun papers, I decided to make a celebratory card. In addition to the BG papers and SRM sticker sentiment, I added some Studio Calico fabric strip for the ruffle.
Visit the SRM blog today and tomorrow to see the projects with Basic Grey and SRM stickers.
Enjoy your Thursday--this week is flying by! I cannot believe May starts THIS weekend. It is my favorite month so I'm really looking forward it :)
