Funny things they say . . .

For Christmas the boys received Leapsters. We've already had to change the batteries. They love them. Well, with vacation over I told them we are back to our daily screen-time limits. I had to explain to them that the Leapster was considered "screen-time" in my book. Krish says to me . . .
"But it's learning!"

I love how their brains work :) So we had to have a little conversation that, yes, it is learning but that there are a lot of ways to learn and he can't just be playing his Leapster all day to learn.

On another note, here are a couple of layouts I completed over the weekend. This first one I used a template design idea by Pam Callahan. I was a fun way to complete a page. Try it--you'll like it :) The products come from the June'09 PersonalScrapper kit. Loved this MME line. The little alphas for "Turkey Trot" are Paper Trunk--love these! They are the perfect size. My MB friend, Sheila, sent me such a fun package in October with these MME and Bella Blvd. papers and embellishments. I love them and was excited to get to use them again on another page. Here is my cute Krish when he lost his first tooth. He was so super excited! I know these pictures were taken on October 5th but I think he had actually lost the tooth a few days before--I forgot to write it down! Guess that happens with the third child . . . and fourth . . . and fifth . . .

Have a great day!

We all do that...lots of pics of the first child then it gradually reduces.

I love your layouts and so wish I can get into scrapping but I just don't have any inspiration right now.

Cute story about the Leapster. I hope that makes way to a scrapbook page soon. :)

Speaking of scrapbook pages, your layouts are great. I haven't scrapped "this year" but hope to change that later today. I'm determined to get every unprinted photo edited and ordered today. It's been quite a task!
