A few more projects . . .

I haven't had a chance to post these little projects yet. They were completed with the August Hip Kit. The flowers on this card were inspired by an article in Scrapbook Trends last month. the bottom layer is cardstock, then a layer of quilt batting, and then the burlap that was in the kit. I machine-stitched the circles on each flower.

This is a little mini-album I created for Miranda for her birthday. It seems of late I don't tell her enough how much I love her and appreciate her. More of my conversation with her tends to be, "Have you done your homework?" "Please help with the kids." "Go clean your room." I hope this will help her remember beyond all of these comments how much I really love her.

Here is the inside opened up. The little Jillibean journaling spot is scored and only adhered on the left side so it flips over to reveal more journaling. I used the Jenni Bowlin crepe paper for mats behind the photos.
Thanks for letting me share :)

Oh my goodness... I think these are my favorite projects of yours EVER. Those stitched burlap flowers are fantastic & the little mini album is absolutely adorable! I can only imagine how big her smile was when you gave it to her! :-)
