New Year

Bird's first Sunday as a Sunbeam. He did great! Walked right up to the bench where he was suppose to sit. His teachers said he was wonderful--loved looking at books. He didn't want his crown so he made it for me. (But I still had him wear it for a pic) So sweet!! :)

Here is my little guy at two months.

To celebrate the New Year, our family went bowling on Friday. It was a blast! Downtown there is a bowling alley that is also a pizza parlor. So we bowled, ate pizza, and drank root beer. The kids really enjoyed themselves. Lina even bowled two spares and a strike. We were all thankful for the gutter bumpers :) Miranda wanted to go again the next day but we had to break it to her that it was a bit too expensive to bowl daily (we had no idea it would cost us $50 just to bowl!). Here is a shot of Lina in action--I think she may have a career in bowling:

Girls have 2-hour delay for school today. It started snowing yesterday late afternoon. The snow turned to rain about midnight. It is still around, but the roads are clear where the plows came through last night.

Last night I actually worked on my first layouts of the year. Sometimes I wish there was unlimited time to scrapbook that didn't take me away from home and family responsiblities. It was nice to have the time last night while B watched the Utah/Alabama Tivo'd football game.

My PersonalScrapper.com kit should arrive soon--I'm so excited!! Can't wait to work with it and get some of our snow pictures on pages.

A couple of other fun things I want to remember:

Krish's football scoring: I'm ahead "4 BY 2". Love it!

Krish's lower left adult molar poking through the gums. I showed it to him in the mirror--he was pretty excited about that.

Glad you were able to work in some scrap time. I have a lot of ideas, but no time. I hope to work some time in later this week. Love reading your family stories. Merek's outfit is adorable!

Glad to hear good things about the local bowling - we've been thinking of going sometime for a family outing. And I love Bird's pic - I think he's thrilled to be out of nursery and with the big kids.
