Today as I pulled into the driveway, the thought occured to me that we still haven't taken down our Christmas lights (not that they are on--our electric current isn't working in the garage or outside outlets right now). And our stockings are still hanging on the mantle. And our Christmas do-dads are still around the house.
But then I thought, well, if some people can put their Christmas stuff UP a month before Christmas, then surely I can LEAVE my Christmas things out a month after Christmas. Right? :)

totally agree - you are good for at least a month, if not until Valentines Day. Heck, my neighbor leaves the lights up year round.
hey, our lights are still up too! & I think the only reason why no other decorations are up is because I never took them out in the first place. ;-)
