At 3 months

Here is Merek at 3 months. He is SOOOO cute! I love to tickle him up his tummy to his neck--he even has started giggling just a bit. So many rolls to pinch and kiss! I weighed him our on scale at home (got on myself, then held him and got on the scale again) and he was 17.5 lbs! He may just pass Lina's 20 lbs. 6-month weight. He "talks" to me quite a bit. It is really interesting to notice he repeats sounds and combinations of sounds--seriously! I love it and really need to remember to record it on video. He sleeps a bit better at night--sometimes he sleep for 3 hours straight! Even though he is up 2-3 times a night, he just gets up to eat and then goes back down in his crib. Which is nice as well--I don't have to hold him all night anymore, even though I admit I do love to have him snuggled up against me to sleep. I moved the high chair setting so it sits him up a bit more. He seems to like it but usually cries when I walk away to do something in the kitchen. He has been doing that quite a bit lately--crying when I walk away. He likes to suck on binkies, and tends to have his hands in his mouth a lot, too. I'm wondering if he'll actually ever find his thumb and become a thumb-sucker. I haven't had one yet. He'll take bottles that I've pumped for, which is nice to know that is an option if I'm not around when he is hungry (which hasn't happened yet). Let me think, is there anything else about him I should write . . . I don't know, but I sure love this little guy. He is growing up way to fast. I said to B tonight, "I can't believe how much he has changed in just 3 months! He looks so different already!"

I think that it is great recording his progress on photo and on your blog...it is like keeping a diary. He is gorgeous...enjoy every precious moment with him.

I enjoyed hearing all about Merek. I miss that age! I would never put mine to bed until they'd fallen asleep in my arms (and sometimes I didn't even want to then!). Mine are both much more than a lapful now. Enjoy him!
