I hope you said "his eyes in the bottom picture". That was the focus of the page. Everytime I kept trying to add more to it, it drew away from his eyes. I wanted the right side white space to be like the water in the aquarium he was looking in to.Circles are such a favorite design element of mine. I cut this one with my handy-dandy new Creative Memories Jumbo Circle template. Love it!

This two-page layout is based on this sketch by Lucy Chesna. I added two vertical photos to bookend the horizontal ones.
The colors in the kit were perfect for DD's 5th Grade Play about the constitution. I made a pocket with the die-cut paper so I could fit her invitation and program on the page, too.

My nephew, Madison, turns 16 this month. I made this card for him and added an SRM Stickers sentiment.

Love them all, but the 2-pager might be my favorite. :)
Awesome work, Melanie! And, yes, Merek does have some beautiful eyes... what a great photo! I love how you used the tickets for journaling tags, too!
Hope you're enjoying your family fun time! ;-)
I love the one with Desiree. What a busy summer you've had with nieces, travel and family fun!
I totally noticed his eyes, and then the different sizes of pictures and how they get larger. I love that technique. I also like the layout with the vertical pics bookending the horizontal ones- gonna lift that idea too.
What beautiful layouts. I can't say hich one I prefer. I like them all especially the first one.
Totally noticed the eyes! And love the various sizes of photos used on the LO. Fabulous projects!!
Love the LO's Mel! I too, noticed his eyes first. But then I thought it was a trick question and started looking for something else! That 2-pager is sooo cute and the one of your daughter's play is precious as well! We need to scrap soon! :o)
Lovely layouts Mel. During our photography course this weekend our teacher told us that it was proven that the eyes are the first thing in a photo that draws your attention. Interesting!
